Jason Martinez

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Jason Martinez was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Office on 6 August 2026.
Jason is a healthcare and technology leader with more than 20 years of senior executive experience both in Australia and internationally.
Jason joined IDX from I-MED Radiology where he was Executive General Manager for NSW, ACT and WA. In this role he oversaw a range of significant acquisitions, generated significant growth in the business, improved efficiency and delivered excellent patient and radiologist engagement.
A passionate advocate for innovation to improve the customer experience, Jason has a proven track record of harnessing technology to drive both commercial performance and customer outcomes
Mr Martinez holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Prior to his EGM role at I-MED Radiology, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director at Konekt (now APM Group), Head of Specialists Services Medical Centres at Healius and Practice Director at Ineum Consulting (previously Parson Consulting).
Judd Heitman
General Manager
Judd graduated from Curtin University of Technology with a BSc in Science (Medical Imaging). He has been an integral member of Apex Radiology (formerly Global Diagnostics) since his commencement in 2009 as a Senior MIT.
Before he was appointed IDXt General Manager, Judd had been the Regional Services Manager for WACHS in Apex Radiology since 2010 – which is a split service of teleradiology and onsite interventional procedures, and more recently he had been splitting his time between WACHS and the Technical Operations Lead role in IDXt.
During his time in Apex, he has managed the 47 WACHS hospital sites and been instrumental in expanding the footprint across WACHS and co-ordinating services to unparalleled levels.
